The Community Data Center Accord establishes a strong foundation for evaluating and guiding data center projects. It is intended to help communities, businesses, and decision-makers initiate thoughtful discussions about proposed data centers, grounded in a shared set of guiding principles. Please see our terms of reference when downloading the Accord.To support this effort, we are also launching the Accord Toolkit—an accessible collection of fillable templates designed to facilitate productive conversations based on the Accord framework. These tools will be available soon on our website, offering a practical way to begin engagement and planning. By using the toolkit, stakeholders can align early, make more informed decisions, reduce risk, and avoid costly missteps. Together, these resources provide a clear path toward more effective, transparent, and collaborative data center development.
